LOCATION: Butler Cemetery is east of Benton and south of Interstate 30. It lies SE of Alexander. Take exit 111 on I30 and travel south on Alexander Rd. (Hwy 111) 1.3 miles to Vine St. Take a left and travel .5 miles to Barth Rd. Continue sout on Barth rd. 2 miles to Vimy Ridge Rd. Take Vimy Ridge Rd. approximately 1.5 miles to Butler Cemetery on the left.

CONDITION: Well maintained.
AGE: Older Male found on the Alexander mountain in 1923. This old man was found on the mountain at the spring near the Buzzard Roost in early 1900's by Glen Bulter age 14 and Klienann Hemming age 15 while playing. His remains were moved to Butler Cemetery by Charles Arthur "Charlie" Butler and the boys. This was the first person buried in Butler Cemetery.
