Marilyn Lynn Burns Baker of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas
Marilyn Lynn Burns Baker, daughter of the late Danny Burns and Vickie Lynn Croslin Eaton of Pfeiffer, Arkansas, was born September 23, 1973 in Batesville, Arkansas. She departed this life December 8, 2017 at her home in Mount Pleasant, Arkansas at the age of 44 years, 2 months and 15 days. She met Joe Baker when she was working at the Cushman store. They were united in marriage July 10, 1999 in Collietown, Arkansas and together they raised two daughters. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 18 years: Joe Baker of the home; two daughters: Brittnay Baker of Mount Pleasant and Stephanie Baker of Batesville; her mother and stepfather: Vickie Lynn and Vincent Eaton of Pfeiffer; her niece: Macy Strain of Cave City and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; her stepfather: Delbert White and one brother: Joe Burns.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Graveside funeral service will be Friday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Melbourne Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Michael Franks, Austin Cunningham, Brad Brock, Johnny Dunegan, Vincent Eaton and Whimp Winkle.
