Larry Donald Johnson, age 71, of Hattieville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017. He was born December 30, 1945 in Hattieville, a son of Jim Johnson and Ola Lea Beeson Johnson. He served during the Vietnam War as a Combat Engineer Spec 5, was of the Baptist faith, and retired as a shop foreman at the Conway County Road Department.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Allene Reynolds Johnson; children, Tammy (Steve) Stewart of Pottsville and James (Dee) Johnson of Hattieville; and grandchildren, Tess Johnson, Juliann Johnson, Jamie Johnson, Patrick Stewart and William Stewart. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, at the Beeson Cemetery with Bro. Dwight Scott officiating. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Visitaion will be Thursday until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Beeson Cemetery care of Nicki Mourot at Beeson Grocery in Hattieville, Arkansas.
