Sarah Willene Ozment, age 83, of Banks, AR, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, at her home. She was born May 23, 1934, in Red Level, Alabama a daughter of the late Labe Odom and Ella Colvin Odom. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a homemaker who loved sewing, quilting, crocheting, canning, working in her yard, gardening, fishing, camping trips and spending time with her family. She was a caregiver for those in need. Also preceding her in death was her husband Lavelle Ozment who died March 23, 2018, a son Danny Ozment, a brother Jimmy Odom, and sisters Louise Crawford, Erlene Gordon, Barbara Clark, Jean Grigeritz, and Joan Smith. Survivors are one son Joey Ozment of Banks, AR. Two daughters April Meadows of Banks, AR, and Mary Cargile of New Edinburg, AR. Four grandchildren Jason Reep of New Edinburg, AR, Bobby Ozment of Kingsland, AR, Amber Reep Spears of New Edinburg, AR, and Megan Cargile of New Edinburg, AR. Nine great-grandchildren. Graveside service was 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at McFarland Cemetery in Banks, AR, by Frazer’s Funeral Home with Steve Mann officiating. Active pallbearers were Jason Reep, Bobby Ozment, Adam Ayala, Blake Spears, Doyle Ozment, Richard Callison, Clifford Halbrook and Sonny Bowen. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Bradley and Dr. Joe H. Wharton.
