Lee Banie Brumley, aged 83, died on Friday, January 5, 1962 at his home near El Dorado after a long illness. Mr. Brumley was born January 28, 1879 in Hampton. He was a retired farmer and had lived near El Dorado for the past six years. He was a member of the Blue Springs First Assembly of God Church. Survivors include five sons, L. H. Brumley and H. C. Brumley, both of Norphlet; Jesse Lee Brumley and J. P. Brumley of El Dorado; Jack Brumley of Smackover; three daughters, Mrs. Faxie Strange of Banks, Mrs. P. T. White and Mrs. Doris Morgan, both of Norphlet; 36 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Nettie Strickland, Mrs. Carrie Morrison and Mrs. Claire Brumley, all of Hampton; and Mrs. Agazine Strickland of Smackover. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon in the Banks Baptist Church with the Rev. Wiley W. Wagnon of Warren, and the Rev. E. Saxelid officiating. Burial was in Banks Cemetery.
