When Delmas W Sellers was born on March 3, 1920, in Washburn, Tennessee, his father, Carl, was 29 and his mother, Jathina, was 26. He married Lorene Mildred Maxey on November 4, 1944. They had one child during their marriage. He died on May 13, 2008, in Perryville, Arkansas, at the age of 88, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
