Velda Rae Blythe, 98, of Van Buren formerly of Mulberry passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 in a Local Nursing Home.
She was a homemaker, retired Beauty Operator, a retired Sales Clerk for McGhee and Company in Mulberry, and Claudette House in Ozark. She was born in Pleasant View and was graduated from Pleasant View High School Class of 1937. She was a longtime Methodist and currently a member of City Heights United Methodist Church in Van Buren.
She is the widow of James Blythe who passed away in 1977.
Graveside service and burial will be will be 10 A.M. Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.
She is survived by a step-son Jimmy Blythe of Moorehead, Kentucky; four step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews of Arkansas.
