Johnny Ray Reeves, 32, of Alma, Arkansas, passed away, March 2, 2013 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born October 10, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Johnny and Angela Maxwell Reeves. He graduated from Mulberry High School in 1999 and went to receive his degree in Information Technology from University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. He began his career as an IT Specialist with C. Bean Trucking in Fort Smith, CompuCom's,
Wal-Mart Division and finally as an IT Engineer with Wal-Mart Headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was an amazing pianist, guitarist, and song writer. He had music in his soul with everything that he did. His world revolved around his children and he shared his love of music with them and also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and going to car shows with his dad. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Wanda Maxwell and paternal grandparents, Mirtle Weatherl and Clide Reeves.


Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jason Sisemore officiating with burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral home.
He is survived by his son, Austin Cole Reeves and mother Brandy Medlock
of Alma; his daughter, Baylie Hope Reeves and mother Anastasia Reeves of Belleville, Illinois; his parents, Johnny and Angela Reeves of Mulberry; his chosen "Sister" Niki Calhoun Pettit of Cumby, Texas, his grandfather, Ray Maxwell of Ozark, Arkansas and many aunts, uncles, family and friends.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00- 7:00 PM, Monday, March 4, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 W. Commercial in Ozark.

Honorary will be Mulberry Class of 1999.
