Laverna Sue Bright, 81, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in a local hospital.
She was born May 13, 1936 in Mulberry, AR to the late Orbery and Monta Bea (Medlock) Meadors.
She was a homemaker and attended Mulberry Open Door Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, S. M. Bright; two sons, Orbery and Billy Bright and one sister, Betty Jean Bascue.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Ocker Chapel with interment in New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Bright and wife Peggy, and Carl Bright and Nissie Dunn all of Mulberry; three sisters, Margie Hensley of Ozark, Carol Simpson of Logan, NM and Audine Phillips of Rudy; her fiancé, J.C. Wagley of Fort Smith, AR and friend/caretaker, Diane Goforth of Van Buren; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Peters, Bobby Morse, J. W. Young, Greg Archer, Tony Eubanks and Kodey Morse.
