Mary Frances Cottrell, age 85, of Banks, AR., died Monday October 17, at Wagnon Place Nursing Home. Born September 14, 1926, in Banks, AR. a daughter of the late Raymond C. Bradford and Willie Lee Risher Bradford she was a homemaker, member of Banks Baptist Church and the widow of Rev. Thelbert Cottrell who died January 9, 1983. They were united in marriage September 26, 1948. Also, preceding her in death were brothers Lamar Bradford, Norman Louis Bradford and a sister Sybil Davis. Survivors are her son John Cottrell, Banks, AR., 1 brother Carlton Bradford, Hayfork, CA. 3 sisters Fannie Mae Forrest, Little Rock, AR., Sue Johnson, Houston, TX. and Carolyn Jenkins, Monticello, AR. many nieces and nephews other relatives and special life long friend, Sue Hooks Johnson, special friends Dixie Young, Jimmy and Melinda Robbins, Patsy Anders, Joe Anders, Linda McDiarmid and other very special people. Graveside services were 2:00pm Thursday, October 20th at McFarland Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Boykin officiating. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were James Robert Gardner, Danny McDiarmid, Jaker Smith, Joe Carroll Wolfe, Monty Heansberger and Keaton Hudson. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Joe Anders, Jimmy Robbins and Robert Wolfe.
