Margie Lee Parks McMurry, age 90, of Banks, AR, died Thursday October 16, at Chapel Woods in Warren, AR. Born June 19, 1924 in Banks, AR a daughter of the late John L. Parks and Maggie Harris Parks she was a homemaker and the widow of David Edwin McMurry who died August 8, 1999. They were united in marriage July 13, 1946. Survivors are 2 sons Donald McMurry, Banks, AR, Frank McMurry and spouse Suzanne, Clinton, AR. 1 daughter Alice Bradford and spouse Joe, Banks, AR. 3 grandchildren Kristi Sarlo and spouse Jayson, David Bradford, Grant McMurry. 2 step great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were sisters Mattie Mae Jones, Carolyn Loomis, Virginia Gannaway. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday October 18, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Mike Powers officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Wade McMurry, Neal McMurry, James Wilkerson, Jeff Loomis, Bill Jones, David Bradford and Grant McMurry.
