Marilyn Morton, Age 71, a resident of Idabel, OK died May 17, 2018. She was born May 16, 1947 in Pascagoula, MS to C.W. and Mildred Piercy Cowart.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clyde Morton. She is also survived by her children:
Ben & Sheila Jackson, Chuck & Beverly Bell, Mary Sue Morton & Jim Horn, Penny Morton, Mike & Pam Morton, and Brad & Sherri Selman. She is also survived by her 5 brothers and sisters, Cheryl Childs, Bobby Cowart, Jerry Cowart, Mary Jane Sumrall, Deijri Galjour; two nephews, Chad Robertson and Adrian Galjour.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charles and Mickey Cowart.
A 5:00 p.m. Interment was conducted Thursday, May 17, 2018 in the Oak Hill cemetery in Ashdown, AR under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home, Idabel, Oklahoma.
Marilyn's family would like to extend their appreciation to Memorial Heights Nursing Home, Encompass Home Health, Aspire Hospice, White Family Funeral Home, and all of her friends that have been so caring and compassionate these last several months. Thank you for your wonderful nursing care, visits, phone calls, flowers, food, and so much more.
