Arnold David Feller, 92, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in a local hospital.He was born August 21, 1923 in Marlin, Texas to the late Alfred D and Linda Stein Feller.He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mulberry, retired Mayor of Mulberry serving 24 years, a former teacher at Mulberry Elementary, Past President of the Arkansas Municipal League and the first one from a small city to hold that office, a member and chairman of Arkansas Fire and Police Pension Review Board, a 1949 graduate of Baylor University, a member of Mulberry Lions Club (Melvin Jones Fellow), member of Crawford County Fair Board and the Mulberry Community Theater. He was also preceded in death by 1 daughter, Cynthia Choate and her 2 sons, David and Neal Choate and 2 brothers, R W and Marvin Feller.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Feller of the home; 2 sons, Tom Feller of Fort Worth, Texas and Jim Bob Feller of Granbury, Texas; 1 step son, Geoffrey D Gammon of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Doris Parton of San Antonio, Texas and Dorothy Stubbs of Waco, Texas; 2 Grandchildren, several great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Medlock, Leroy Kizer, Mike Shipley, Bruce Walker, Randy Jones, Mark Mears and Rickey Morse.Honorary Pallbearers will be The Men of The Mulberry First United Methodist Church.
