Tommie Ray Davis, 92, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, December 2,
2012 in Bella Vista.
He was born August 5, 1920 in Mulberry, AR to the late William A. and Effie Inez
(Shook) Davis and preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Durden Davis and a
daughter, Jackie Effie Davis.

He was a retired carpenter, a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II, serving
aboard a 5 star ship, The USS White Plains and a Quaker.

Survivors include three daughters, 9 grandchildren and 2 great
grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Ocker Chapel of Alma
with interment in New Cemetery with military honors. The family will visit with
friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Friday evening at the funeral home, 917 Hwy.
64 East, Alma, AR.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Renfro, Mark Thurman, II, Thel Renfro, Jr., Bill
Weatheral, Kerry Satterfield and Keith Satterfield.

Sarah Elizabeth Davis, 87, of Alma died Thursday, July 1, 2004, in a Fort Smith
hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Denton, Texas. She was a homemaker, and
a member of the Christian Church. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Shaffer
Funeral Home in Mulberry with burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry. She is
survived by her husband, five daughters, a son, 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren
