Bessie Mae Reddin Johns McKinney, age 83 of Warren, Ark. died Monday June 20th at her home. Born May 10, 1922 at Blue Springs in Bradley County, AR. a daughter of the late Addison “AD” Reddin and Bessie Loraine Briley Reddin she was a retired lunch room supervisor for the Banks Pubic School System and member First Assembly of God Church in Warren. Survivors are her husband Preston McKinney whom she married May 27, 1966. 2 daughters Dot Johns Bonds of Pine Bluff, AR. and Donna Johns Claud of Forrest City, AR. 2 step sons Ronnie McKinney of Star City, AR. and Michael McKinney of San Jose, CA. 1 step daughter Sandra McKinney Williams of Warren, AR. 1 brother F.L. Reddin of La Mesa, CA. 1 sister Mary Reddin Douglas of England, AR. 7 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death are brothers Merl Reddin, Harold Reddin, Harvey Reddin, Randolph Reddin, Tom Reddin, Douglas Reddin, Martin Reddin, Briley Reddin, James Reddin and sisters Myrtle Reddin Weeks and Brunette Reddin Pritchard. Funeral services were 2.00pm Wednesday, June 22 at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Reddin and Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist were Linda McDougald and Barbara Cantly. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery, at Banks, AR. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were James Moore, Dale Reddin, Cecil Pritchard, Danny Douglas, Scott Douglas and Justin Stewart. Honorary pallbearers were Phillip Calvert, Bobby Hannegan, Darren Bonds, Jason Claud and Steve Reddin.
