Bernard Lucas, 63, of the El Dorado Hwy, died in a Warren hospital Tuesday. He was a retired employee of International Paper Company and a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Camden. Survivors include his wife, Rachel Smith Lucas; one son, Bobby Lucas of Camden; three daughters, Mrs. Edna Davis and Mrs. Peggy Lindsey both of Camden, and Mrs. Lavern Booker of Warren; three brothers, Harvey Lucas and Durward Lucas both of Banks; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Lou Wolfe, Banks, and Mrs. Blanch Wyman of Los Angeles, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services 2 p.m. Wednesday at Proctor's Chapel with burial in McFarland Cemetery at Banks. (Camden News - July 13, 1971)
