Obituary
Edward P. "Eddie" Andreas, 94, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on December 1st, 2016.
Eddie was born to Hajeb Andreas and Maria (Gerabedian) Andreas September 23, 1922. He is survived by his loving wife Florence (Babe) Andreas of 62 years and his two sons Ken and Gary Andreas and many loving nieces and nephews.
Eddie graduated from Brownsville High School and studied at Texas A&M. He proudly served his country in the US Army as a B-24 Liberator pilot based in Italy. He flew 52 missions before returning home. He was a pilot for 33 years with TTA, Texas International and Continual Airlines and served as a board member for the Airline Pilots Association. He also served as the President of the 459th Bomb Group. He was an active member of his community serving on Neighborhood boards and Community watch groups. He volunteered for the USO and St Edward Catholic church in Spring, Texas. Eddie's life was full as he loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends and his dog Chancy. He was dynamic, proud and strong willed. Eddie lived his life on his terms.
The Andreas family will receive family and friends Friday, December 9th, 2016 with a Memorial Service at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions starting at 3pm followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project Inc or the SPCA.
