Leonard M Ming, 86, of Van Buren, died, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in Fort Smith. He was born October 26, 1922 in Roseville, Arkansas.He served in the US Navy during WWII, was a retired machine operator for Mead Container in Fort Smith and was a member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church.He was survived by his wife, Velma Ming of the home; 4 daughters, Karen Myers of Cedarville, Arkansas, Laurna Brown of Van Buren, Arkansas, Gina Loyd of Cabot, Arkansas, and Becky Weitlich of Shawnee, Kansas; 4 sons, Dale Ming of Van Buren, Arkansas, Gary Ming of Rudy, Arkansas, Lenny Ming of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Mike Ming of Van Buren, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Wanda Owens of Mountainburg, Arkansas and Doris Kizer of Oregon; 2 brothers, Waymon Ming of Selma, California and Hoyt Ming of Springdale, Arkansas; 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Velma Ming, 84, of Van Buren,Arkansas passed away Monday, January 5, 2015. She was born January 16, 1930 in Hunt, Arkansas to the late Dan and Anna Crooks Parker. She was a homemaker, and a member of Butterfield Assembly but was currently attending Mount Olive United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard M Ming. She is survived by 4 daughters, 4 sons, 3 sisters, 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
