Twilla Jean McPherson, 94, of Mulberry, Arkansas, died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at her home in the Pleasant View Community at Mulberry.
She was born April 12, 1921, in Ozark, Arkansas, in the Gar Creek Community to Louis Napoleon and Addie Magdalena Edgin Sanders.She was retired from administrative office of General Telephone Company in Pamona. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Mulberry; past president of the P V Friendly Neighbors ECH and Turner Memorial Hospital, and auxiliary member of the Mulberry American Legion.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Troy McPherson; son Jerry Allen McPherson; granddaughter Robin McPherson; 3 brothers, Edward, L N, and Don Sanders; and 2 sisters, Carlene Best and Jesse Wayne Sanders. She is survived by a son Jim McPherson of Carmel, Indiana, and a daughter, Mary Briceno of Mulberry; 3 sisters-in-law: Barbara Sanders and Addell Sanders of Ozark and Freda Morgan of San Dimas, California;7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
