Leona Forester, born in White Oak, Ky. June 24,1929, was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include four daughters, Marian Wahrmund (Olin) of Little Rock, Sherry Lewis (Tommie) of Danville Ark., DeOnne Pruitt (Leland) of Plumerville, Ark., Jacque Overesch (Ben) of Carthage, Texas, and Tanya McGary (Harold) of Searcy, Ark.; and one son, Danny Compton (Norma) of Plumerville, Ark.; sisters, Geneva Holton, Irene Nietman, Marilyn Schwartz and Margie Bellamy; 10 grandchildren, Jason and Bryan Wahrmund, Tracy Criswell, Jennifer Haley, Suzie Lloyd, Laura Toton, Dena Kay Polk, Aaron Pruitt, Lindsey McGary, the late Will McGary; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Leona leaves behind two beloved dogs, Daisy and Heshi.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "No Kill Shelter" or the Humane Society in your area.
A memorial visitation will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
