When Oma Mae Flowers was born on April 8, 1914, in Arkansas, her father, James Monroe (Jim) Flowers 1893–1975, was 20, and her mother, Claudia Josephine Wagley 1894–1986, was 19. She had four sons and three daughters with Willie Jennings Hendricks. She died in August 1987 in her hometown at the age of 73, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
When James Delmar Miser was born on November 22, 1918, in Stone, Arkansas, his father, George Jackson, was 32 and his mother, Lucy Frances Cornwell, was 29. He had two sons from one relationship. He died on May 20, 1978, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, at the age of 59, and was buried there.
