January 1, 1924 - June 22, 2018
Daphine Lord, 94 of Walnut Ridge, formerly of Imboden, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at the NEA Hospital in Jonesboro.
Born January 1, 1924 in Ravenden; daughter of Harry and Sadie Clements Halstead. She was united in marriage to Burton Wilson Lord on May 1, 1948. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Burton in 1980; a granddaughter, Luisa Rodriguez Nelson in 2015.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Rodriguez of Imboden; two grandchildren, Tobi Millwee of Colorado, and Aurora Basinger of Ravenden; a grandson-in-law, Neil Nelson of Imboden; two great granddaughters, Guen and Memphis Nelson both of Imboden; one sister, Irma Due of Ravenden; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Imboden Church of Christ with Wayne Herring officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Internment will follow in the Opposition Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the Church.
