State of Arkansas Confederate Pension Archives
R. Leander Snavely filed Veteran Application #1902 with the Confederate Pension Board of Washington County for a Confederate pension and it was received as allowed August 21, 1902 at the State, citing service with Company I, 25th Virginia Cavalry from 1863 thru 1865, he being wounded. Mr. Snavely died March 20, 1913. His widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Snavely filed Widow Application #1902 with the Confederate Pension Board of Washington County for a Confederate widow pension and it was received as allowed August 11, 1913.
