Vickie Lee Peterman, 64, of Lincoln, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2016 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 2, 1952 in Providence, R.I. to Elbert Lee and Nora Inez Adair Vick. Vickie was devoted to the care of her family and her animals. She also enjoyed flower gardening. She retired as director of retail services from the University of Arkansas after 17 years.
She is survived by her husband, Joel Peterman, whom she married in 1974; three children, Michael Peterman of Lowell, Carmen Taylor of Lincoln, Cathy Zaman of Fayetteville; two brothers, Earl Vick of West Fork, Donald Ray Vick of Ala.; and six grandchildren, Austin, Jarred, Abigail, Madisyn, Hayden and Jacinda. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Harris.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Elm Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
