FAYETTEVILLE — Ralph Ray Smith, 71, of Fayetteville died Jan. 29, 2005, at his home.
He was born Aug. 13, 1933, in West Fork to Lee Hamilton and Beulah Elizabeth Slate Smith. He was a retired self-employed painter. He served in the Army and enjoyed fishing. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Jean Smith; two sons, Gary R. Smith and Donald R. Smith, both of Springdale; a daughter, Margaret Louise Russell of Andalusia, Ala.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tharp Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville.
