Albert E. Hardesty, 78, died at his home Saturday evening. He was a laborer and had lived in Fayetteville for 46 years. He was born October 20, 1882 at Hackett, the son of Wallace and Lucinda Hardesty.
Survivors are one sister, Miss Alta Hardesty, Fayetteville; one niece, Mrs. Casie Higginbothom, Fayetteville; two great nephews, and two great nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel by the Rev. Tommie Gibbs assisted by the Rev. Wayne Danner. Burial will be in Thorpe cemetery.
