SILOAM SPRINGS (Special) — Charles E. Greathouse, 77, resident of the Harmon community and member of a pioneer Washington County family, died last night at a Fayetteville hospital.
Mr. Greathouse was born Nov. 21, 1883, at Eufaula, Okla., the son of the late Sen. B. H. Greathouse and Martha Stout Greathouse. He had spent most of his life in the Harmon community, where he was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are three brothers, Harlson of Harmon, Jack M. of Fayetteville and Theodure B. of Little Rock.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Harmon Methodist Church by the Rev. Will Downum. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery under direction of Wasson's.
Pallbearers will be Arch Thompson, Clyde McCamey, Nolan McCamey and Dewey McCamey, Carl Wright and Russell Henshaw.
