Peggy Anita Mason, 74, of Clarksville died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Country Side Manor Nursing Home. Born March 13, 1937, in Clarksville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Dessie Willett North. She was a member, a Sunday school teacher and the pianist at the Mount Olive Methodist Church. She graduated in 1955 from Lamar High School and worked at Thermo-Tile for 37 years. She was active in the bowling leagues and was the widow of J P Mason, Jr. Survivors include her sister, Nina; brother-in-law, Earl Mason; nephews, Michael (Janine) Mason of Dallas, Texas, and Alvin (Regena) Mason of Clarksville; brother-in-law, David (Gloria) Mason of Lamar; sister-in laws, Anna Sue (Cecil) England of Ingleside, Texas, and Mary Jane (Elwyn) Allen of Texarkana; nieces and nephews, Laney Mason, Kendall Mason, McKenzie Rollinson and Cody Rollinson; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

J P Mason, Jr, 73, of Clarksville died Sunday, December 31, 2000, at his home. He was a son of the late John Price & Laura Foulke)Mason, Sr, member of the Mt Olive Methodist Church, Navy veteran, retired soil conservation service employee, and retired company commander of the National Guard.Survivors include his widow, Peggy North Mason; 2 sisters, Mary Jane Allen of Texarkana and Anna Sue England of Ingleside, Texas; and 3 brothers, James E Mason and Earl Mason, both of Clarksville,Arkansas and David Mason of Hagarville, Arkansas.
