MRS. SIMON WATSON
Mrs. Clara Ethel Watson, 66, of Pettigrew died March 27. She was born April 15, 1897 in Springfield. Mo., and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Simon Watson, of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Nola Dean Huffar and Mrs. Ola Jean Gray of Pettigrew; Mrs. Madeline Walden and Mrs. Wilma June Karr of Bell Gardens, Calif. and Mrs. Mary Lee Johnson of Combs; one son, Bobby Wayne Watson of Pettigrew; three half-brothers, Richard Combs and Woodrow Combs of Dutton, and Mack Combs of McCleary, Wash., and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Pettigrew community church conducted by the Rev. Halin Bartlow. Burial was in the Dutton cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
