Barbara Jean Oldham Caldwell, 81, of Clarksville, Arkansas died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Johnson Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lakewood, California on January 26, 1932, to the late Ongy and Amma Wilson Oldham. She moved to Clarksville, Arkansas in 1959.She was a loving mother and grandmother, served her family well, and retired from the University of the Ozarks. She was a member of the First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Clarksville, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by 1 grandson: Jonathan David Caldwell; 5 brothers: Agustus Wilkerson, Cecil Wilkerson, Vernon Oldham, Donald Oldham, Aubry Oldham, and 2 sisters: Dorothy Lewis, and Augusta Oldham.She is survived by 6 sons: Darrell and Anita Caldwell of Paris, Tennessee, Dale and Anita Caldwell of Clarksville, Arkansas, Doyle and Dona Caldwell of Sheridan, Arkansas, David and Karen Caldwell of Anderson, South Carolina, Duane and Cheryl Caldwell of Clarksville Arkansas, Dean Caldwell of Carthage, Missouri; 1 brother Riley Wilson "R W" Oldham, & 2 sisters, Thelma Williams and Hazle Oldham Jay; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Her 6 sons, Darrell, Dale, Doyle, David, Duane, and Dean serving as pallbearers; and Donald Caldwell, D J Caldwell, Travis Caldwell, Nathan Caldwell, Timothy Caldwell, Brent Caldwell, Clayton Caldwell, and Chris Caldwell serving as honorary pallbearers.
