When Allen Ambers Jackson Hill was born on May 25, 1878, in Lick Mountain, Arkansas, his father, Thomas Jefferson "Jeff", was 24 and his mother, Hannah Jane Elizabeth Polk, was 23.
When Mary Lugenia Williams was born on July 4, 1877, in Lick Mountain, Arkansas, her father, Andrew Jackson "Jack", was 23, and her mother, Ellanda Jane Kissire, was 19. She married Allen Ambers Jackson Hill on December 4, 1895, in Conway, Arkansas. They had 12 children in 25 years. She died on January 15, 1929, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, at the age of 51, and was buried there.
