BENTONVILLE — Francis Irvin "Mac" McNelly, 83, of Bentonville passed away January 21, 2017 in Bentonville. He was born March 11, 1933 in Bentonville the son of Francis and Hazel Henson McNelly. Mac was a retired truck driver he drove for Wal-Mart and Willis Shaw Trucking Company. He served in the United States Air Force for 8 years. He was a member of Harbor of Praise Church.
Preceded in death by his wife Effie, his parents, one son, Ivan McNelly, and one brother, Larry McNelly. Survived by his children, Karen Nanny, Randy McNelly, Joemark McNelly, Sheila Harrison, Chynna Barlow and Tanner McNelly; his siblings, Jerry McNelly, Verginia Warren, Lometa Sandlin, Joyce Bone, Linda Gorman, Lawanda Shockley, Pat Stanfield and Mary Dillow; sister-in-law of the home, Dee Herriage; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services 12 noon, Wednesday at Harbor of Praise with Pastor Roy Roughton and Pastor Hank Gorman officiating. Interment in the Oaks Cemetery with full military honors by the Bella Vista Honor Guard. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Church. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. BENTONVILLE — Effie McNelly, 70, of Bentonville passed away June 11, 2016, in Bentonville. She was born July 4, 1945, in California the daughter of James Levi and Myrtle Lee Wilbanks Herriage. Effie was a homemaker and a member of Harbor of Praise Church in Bentonville.
She is survived by her husband Francis "Mac' McNelly of the home; her daughter Sheila Kay McNelly Harrison and husband Raymond of Bentonville; five sisters, Deloris, Shirley, Jeanie, Dolly and Louise; four brothers, Jimmy, Billy, Biggy and Bobby; two grandchildren, Chynna Barlow and Tanner McNelly; three great-grandchildren, Utayveian, Xaylan and Ava; seven sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Harbor of Praise Church with Pastor Roy Roughton officiating. Visitation: 6 to 8: p.m. Tuesday at Harbor of Praise.
