When Pearl Irene Pierson was born on November 28, 1897, in Nashua, Iowa, her father, Charles Levi Pierson, was 23, and her mother, Nera Gertrude Cook, was 21.
When John F Davidson was born on July 20, 1879, in Grundy, Iowa, his father, Donald, was 30 and his mother, Janet, was 26. He married Pearl Irene Pierson on October 14, 1914, in Nashua, Iowa. They had ten children in 20 years. He died on May 15, 1960, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, at the age of 80, and was buried there.
