Thelma May Perkins was born November 19, 1915, to William Lee and Esther Jones May in Little Rock, Arkansas.She married Al Chester Perkins in 1942. In 1944, they moved to St Louis, Missouri and founded Chester Perkins Plumbing Co, which they ran until his death in 1993.Thelma was a devoted member of 50-plus years to Christ's Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in St Louis, Missouri She returned to live in Clarksville in 2005, and departed this life July 3, 2011, at Paris Health and Rehabilitation Center in Paris, Arkansas. She is survived by nieces, Pat Alexander, Doris Freeman, Brenda Williams, Bertha Jefferson, Mary Bea Hernandez, and Vickie Alston; and by o1 nephew, Dan Alston.
