Mark Otis Woodbridge, 83, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died February 6, 2014 at his home. He was born June 23, 1930 at Fort Sumner, New Mexico, the son of Joseph ER and Pearl Dreibelbis Woodbridge. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the Huntsville Church of Christ, Hayes-Smith Post #137, American Legion, Post #10,021, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Huntsville C.A.R.E.S. Club. He was the best Husband, Daddy, Son and Brother ever.
Survivors include: his wife, Anna Carolyn Ross Woodbridge of the home; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Marquita Ann Kendrick of Huntsville, Arkansas, Sally Rae and Rick Witt of Hindsville, Arkansas and Susan Marie and David Courtney of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Mary Jo Hankla of Springdale, Arkansas and Roberta Box of Huntsville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Ericka Witham of Centreville, Virginia, Chase Kendrick of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kara Sanchez of Huntsville, Arkansas, Will Courtney, Bryan Courtney, Joe Courtney and Gene Courtney, all of Fort Worth, Texas and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Neva Witham of Centreville, Virginia and Blaine Kendrick of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, February 15, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Johnson and Joe Blanks officiating. Interment will be in the Alabam Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Chase Kendrick, Will Courtney, Bryan Courtney, Joe Courtney, Gene Courtney and Eddie Blanks. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rick Witt, David Courtney, Darrell Reeser, Joe Blanks, Tom Wiles, Waite Hankla, Ivan H. Box, M. D.,Tom Lee, Bill Davidson and Dois Taylor. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab, Madison County Senior Activity Center or Alabam Cemetery.
