August 6, 1897 - July 21, 1965

Miss Hattie E. Harman, 67, died at her home, 705 E. Elm St. Wednesday morning after a short illness. Miss Harman was born at New London Aug. 6, 1897, the daughter of Charles E. and Tobitha Frisby Harman. A lifelong resident of Union County, she had lived in El Dorado for the last 45 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and of the Wesley Berean Sunday School class of that church. Surviving are a brother, S. Ritchie Harman; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Harman Cobb; a nephew, Charles G. Cobb; a niece, Mrs. Clyde Sasser; a great nephew and a great niece. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Rumph Mortuary with the Rev. C. Ray Hozendorf officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Sadie Harman Cobb, 705 E. Elm. (The El Dorado Times - July 21, 1965)
