Ella Fay (Brown) Frazier the daughter of Earl Brown and Maud Ferguson Brown. Robert A Brown was a Free Mason.


Fay Frazier, 86, of Evening Shade died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Cave City Nursing Home. She was born August 8, 1920 in Evening Shade and was the daughter of Earl and Maud Ferguson Brown.

Fay retired from Banquet Foods and she was a homemaker. She was very independent and also a very hard worker. She loved working in her flower garden and would give flowers and bulbs to her family and friends so they could grow them too. Fay also had a vegetable garden that she loved to can from. In the summer months, when they were kids, her nieces and nephews loved to spend time at her home.

Fay is survived by her brother, Nelson Brown of Batesville and two sisters, Lillian Stroud of Evening Shade and Norma Smith of Cave City. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. A. Frazier and two sisters, Lorene Soward and Velma Polk.

Pallbearers are John Ables, Billy Ray, Mike Bell, Pete Ring, Van Thomas and Dowell Thomas.

Funeral services are at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Roller-Crouch-McGee Chapel in Cave City with Brother Gayle Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the funeral service at the Antioch Cemetery in Zion under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.
