Donald Franklin Stinnett, age 78, of Chidester, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Rushing Memorial Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Stinnet; daughter, Janet Gray; and parents, Fleet and Nettie Burleson Stinnett. He is survived by his sons, David Wayne Stinnett of Chidester and Brian Stinnett Avant of Hampton; daughters, Mary Lanette Stinnett of Chidester and Donna Marie Campbell of Georgia; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Rushing Memorial Methodist Church. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
