When Annis Elizebeth Waters was born on October 31, 1915, in Scotland, Arkansas, her father, Thomas, was 37, and her mother, Rosa, was 26. She married Norvin Lincoln Waters on July 8, 1936. They had three children during their marriage. She died on June 24, 2000, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 84, and was buried in Conway, Arkansas.
