When Effie Mae Blanton was born on August 23, 1895, in Oklahoma, her father, James, was 34, and her mother, Ida, was 25. She had one child with Leroy Lewis (Hallsell) and one child with Sherman Blain Adams. She died on November 6, 1975, in Morrilton, Arkansas, at the age of 80, and was buried in Conway, Arkansas.
