When Samuel PALMER was born in August 1843 in Madison, Alabama, his father, William, was 28 and his mother, Matilda, was 19. He married Mary Nancy WHITTEN and they had five children together. He then married Mary Ann BOLTON WILDER and they had two children together. He died on September 12, 1918, at the age of 75.
