Leonard V. Shipp, age 76 of Cleveland, AR passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011. He was born on September 18, 1935, a son of the late Noah Shipp and Oma (McCoy) Shipp. Leonard was a farmer and a Logger by trade and member of the Church of Christ. He love to hunt and fish and work on his farm with the cattle. His greatest love was and is his Family. He was preceded in death by his wife: Della Mae Watkins Shipp and son: Vernon Shipp. He is survived by:Son: James Shipp and his wife, April of Cleveland AR. Daughters: Kay Shipp of Cleveland AR; Teresa G. Shipp and her husband, Marvin Byers of Hattieville AR. Brothers: Dewey Shipp; Alvin Shipp and Eddie Shipp all of Cleveland AR.Sister: Judy Baldwin of Cleveland AR. Six Grandchildren and a host of friends.Funeral Services are 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 28, at Harding ST. Church of Christ with Charles Bane officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, October 27th. Interment: Lost Corner Cemetery. Arrangements by Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home of Morrilton.
