SPRINGDALE - Bernice Carolyn Kohles, 79, of Springdale died Dec. 21, 2000, at Des Moines, Iowa. She was born Dec. 19, 1921, in Raeville, Neb., to Cornelius and Mayme Heithoff Bock. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Kohles.

Survivors include two sons, Don Kohles and Kevin Kohles, both of Johnston, Iowa; four daughters, Connie Agan of Omaha, Neb., Kerri Morrison of Houston, Texas, Terri Richter of Fort Collins, Colo., and Kristine Stover of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Howard Bock of Hamlin, Iowa, and Ralph Bock of Glidden, Iowa; four sisters, Ione Bock of Oakland, Calif., Ruth Brinker of Springdale, Phyllis Tigges of Dexter, Iowa, Shirley Clark of Lake City, Iowa; 10 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springdale with the Rev. Joseph Correnti officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Tontitown.

Pallbearers will be Dale Agan, Jay Morrison, Peter Richter, Andrew Kohles, Jason Kohles and Dale Brinker.

Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.
