Waymon M. Dickson Sr., 84, of Springdale died Sunday, Aug. 13, 1995, at his home.
Born July 2, 1911, at Jonesboro, a son of William and Betty Smith Dickson, he was a retired water supervisor for Scottsdale, Ariz., and a member of First Baptist Church of Springdale, where he was a member of the Singing Saints.
Survivors are his wife, Beatrice Dickson; two daughters, Bernice Dickson of Yarnell Hill, Ariz., and Marlene Miner of Fayetteville; a stepson, Mike Betts of Tulsa, Okla.; a stepdaughter, Mary Carl of Parkhill, Okla.; a sister, Leno Spangler of Cabot; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sonora Cemetery with the Rev. Oakley Long and Joe Dorman officiating. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery. Arrangement are by Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1709 Johnson Road, Springdale 72762.
