March 4, 1880 - April 25, 1967
Ed Christian, 87, 700 Marsh Ave., died Tuesday night in a local hospital. Born March 4, 1880 in Texarkana, he was the son of Dave and Lou Owens Christian. Before his retirement he was employed for 40 years at the El Dorado Laundry. He was a member of the Vantrease Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, C. A. Christian, El Dorado, one sister, Mrs. Odie Bell King, Dallas, Tex.; one granddaughter, Mrs. W. R. Wrapt, Little Rock; and four great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Daily News - April 26, 1967)
