Malinda "Lindy" Carpenter Scroggins was the daughter of Owen and Sarah Rachel Smith
Henson Scroggins was the son of Larkin and Sarah Scroggins. He married Melinda Carpenter on May 6, 1835 in ,Jones, GA. They had the following children: Greene, Wiley, Sarah, Jesse, Mary, Robert, Dennis, Rhoda, Larkin, Melissa, and Monroe.
