Body of Girl, 13 Found in River-Morrilton-The body of Carolyn Sturgeon, 13, of Morrilton, missing since May 7, has been recovered from the Arkansas River about eight miles south of here. Authorities said two Morrilton men found the body late Tuesday about four feet from the south bank of the river. The girl had been missing since she went wading in the river May 7. Funeral will be at 2 pm today at Lost Corner Community Church near Cleveland. Burial will be at Lost Corner Cemetery by McNutt Funeral Service of Conway.
Carolyn Jeanette Sturgeon was born on October 27, 1959, in Arkansas, the daughter of Millie and Mr. Sturgeon. She had one brother and one sister. She died as a teenager on May 7, 1973, in her hometown.
