Wife of MAJOR David Edward Tews
Tews, Karen A former resident of West Bend and Saukville died at home in Horseshoe Bend, AR, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the age of 71. She was employed for over 20 years as a social worker with the Washington County Department of Social Services. She is survived by her husband, Rev. David Tews, of Horseshoe Bend, a sister Kristin Marchand (Eugene) of Combermere, Ontario, three stepsons, Gerald, Richard and Robert Tews and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Shepherd of Hills Lutheran Church of Horseshoe Bend, AR with burial at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, AR on Friday, April 4.
