Mr. David Carl Frank of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015, at the age of 71.
He was born on January 11, 1944, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to Carl William and Viola Fulkerson Frank.
David married Ms. Peggy Debon White on June 25, 1966.
Mr. Frank was a 1961 graduate of Wynne High School, and served in the U.S. Navy and Air Force during the Vietnam war, retiring from the Air Force in 1983. David went to work for the U.S. Postal Service and retired from there in 2005. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a licensed preacher staying busy preaching and helping others. He enjoyed working in the yard, and fishing. David was a modest, humble, and generous man.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Kevin Frank.
David is survived by his wife of forty-eight years: Peggy frank of the home, four sons: Mark Frank and wife Sharon of Jonesboro, Arkansas, John Frank and wife Zena of Spring, Texas, Daniel Frank and wife Leslie of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Martie Frank of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, one daughter: Amy Garner of Wynne, Arkansas, one sister: Mary Ann Koon of Woodstock, Illinois, nine grandchildren, one on the way, and one great grandchild on the way.
Burial was in Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery-Birdeye under the direction of Thompson Wilson Funeral Home.
