Mr. Jimmie Wayne Peeler, 78, of Wynne, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Wynne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Franklin Peeler and Vera Alice McKnight Peeler, son, Jimmie Wayne Peeler, Jr., sisters, Dianne, Linda, and brothers, Jerry and Ray.
Mr. Peeler was born in Wynne, Arkansas on December 24, 1936. In 1957, he married Wanda Sue Morris Peeler, who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter, Alicia Peeler Turner of Wynne; sons, Joe Peeler and David Peeler of Wynne; brother, Lewis Peeler of Wynne; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Jimmy served his country during the Korean War in the U. S. Navy. He was a baptist preacher and a salesman.
Visitation for Mr. Peeler will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 6 to 8 PM at Kernodle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 12 PM at Kernodle Funeral Home with burial in the Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye.
